ITINERARI DI PESCA: LAGO DEL GELSO A BELLARIA IGEA MARINA (RN)
In riviera e precisamente nel riminese ad Igea Marina si trova il Parco del Gelso, uno dei più vasti polmoni di verde che si possono incontrare nelle aree urbane della costa adriatica e al centro si trova il lago del Gelso.
La ricca vegetazione presente e le aree tematiche ne fanno una delle mete più interessanti della vacanza ed è molto frequentato dagli amanti del fitness e dell’attività all’aria aperta, come la pesca sportiva.
L’accesso è libero e aperto a tutti e per pescare serve solo la licenza con regolare versamento della tassa regionale.
Dalla statale adriatica non è difficile raggiungerlo basta seguire l’indicazione Igea, parco del Gelso e si è arrivati.
Questo grande invaso urbano viene ben tenuto visto la presenza di persone che lo frequentano e copre una superficie di circa tre ettari ricavato da una ex cava di sabbia.
E adesso parliamo di pesca: la presenza di diverse specie di pesci richiama diverse tipologie di pescatori, dal carpista, allo spinnofilo, al colpista e al feederista.
Nel lago sono presenti Carpe, tinche, breme, cavedani, lucci, pesci gatto, siluri, e tanti carassi sia bronzati che dorati.
Purtroppo il bracconaggio non ha risparmiato nemmeno questo lago anche se i controlli continui delle forze dell’ordine ne hanno di fatto fermato lo scempio.
La pesca si concentra sull’isolotto al centro del lago, sui canneti del lato est, dove sono installati tre piccoli pontili che facilitano la pesca, e sul quarto pontile nel lato sud che si addentra per almeno 10-15 metri all’interno del lago.
Il livello dell’acqua raggiunge anche i cinque metri ma attorno all’isolotto la profondità per circa un metro di larghezza va dai 50 cm a 1 mt.
Il lago grazie al suo ambiente è molto suggestivo ed è popolato da una numerosa colonia di anatre, oche e altri uccelli di lago.
Le limitazioni riguardano la pasturazione che prevede 1 kg di sfarinati e mezzo chilo di bigattini max.
Nel lato ovest sono presenti tra le canne alcune postazioni molto “english style” ricercate soprattutto nel periodo estivo perchè sempre in ombra.
A pochi metri da riva la profondità raggiunge i cinque metri e in queste condizioni si può pescare con qualsiasi tecnica: bolognese, inglese, roubaisienne,
canna fissa, ledgering oltre allo spinning e al carpfishing.
Non è difficile incrociare la mangiata di un grosso cavedano, una carpa che ovviamente cercherà la via di fuga verso i canneti e i carassi anche di taglia superiore al chilo.
Ogni tanto mi capita di frequentarlo e la pesca è simile a quella che si pratica nei grandi canali dove sono presenti gli stessi pesci.
Personalmente lo affronto sia a roubaisienne che a feeder e mi sono quasi sempre divertito ma attenzione perchè in alcuni giorni le mangiate sono davvero rare e allora per vincere la diffidenza è necessario scendere tanto di filo e di amo.
A feeder solitamente scelgo lunghe distanze di pesca non meno di 40 metri e utilizzo come pasturatori del black cap da 30 grammi che provvedo a riempire di pastura gialla molto aromatizzata e bigattini vivi sfusi.
Il terminale dello 0,11 lungo 80 cm con amo del n° 20 ad esempio un Katana serie 1115 penso sia il mix perfetto a patto che in bobina sia montato del nylon, e non del trecciato, per avere una maggiore elasticità in caso di abboccate di pesci di taglia.
Penso che il segreto per attirare il pesce sia quello di mungere il filo spostando il pasturatore per farlo scaricare e creare la scia per brevi tratti di dieci cm ogni volta e le attese di pesca, tra un lancio e l’altro, le preferisco fare intervallate di 15 minuti circa.
Innesco solitamente dei bigattini vivi rossi, un’esca che risulta sempre più catturante dei classici bigattini bianchi e non lo dico io ma le abitudini dei pescatori inglesi che nei laghi di fatto utilizzano solo i bigattini rossi.
A roubaisienne invece si pesca con lenze montate su sei pezzi di canna mentre in alcuni posti sono sufficienti montature su cinque pezzi.
La brezza del vicinissimo mare Adriatico può portare ad una leggera increspatura della superficie e per questo si pesca meglio con galleggianti da 1 a 1,5 grammi anche perchè la profondità per entrare in pesca è notevole.
In estate si pescano cavedani a galla sulla fiondata dei bigattini vivi mentre sul fondo con il mais possono entrare carassi e carpe.
Il lago del Gelso è un’altro spot dove poter trascorrere qualche ora in un ambiente molto rilassante e se si vuole pescare a roubaisienne per raggiungere gli spot è necessario dotare il paniere di ruote e kit traino.
